This building, located near an SNCB repair workshop, was abandoned in 1979 after a major gas explosion damaged part of the structure, injuring several occupants and killing one. The building housed administrative offices as well as showers and sanitary facilities for employees. The site of the explosion was still visible at the time of my visit. Despite its dilapidated state and the many traces of vandalism, there were some nice graffitis here and there. Today, the building has been renovated and houses a residential complex.
