We can tell that this gathering of houses, barns and other small buildings was abandoned for a long time. With its appearance of a small farm village lost in the middle of the forest, this site has been an ideal prey for vegetation. However, the appearance is only misleading because these buildings are located on the edge of a major road axis not far from the Lion’s Mound of Waterloo. There was already not much left of the site during my visit. I dust off and reveal this series of photos while I learn that the site was razed a short time ago. BONAPARTE has taken over the premises since 2017 and is preparing a residences project there, the residences of the Parc du Lion.
