This reinforced concrete headframe belonged to the « Charbonnages du Martinet » before being sold in 1852 to Monceau Fontaine, which was one of the most important coal mining associations in the region of Charleroi… This was the mine shaft n°3, nicknamed « Le Petit Martinet » or else « Fosse au Bois ».
