This Liquid Oxygen Storage was built in 1934 by the Société Métallurgique des Terres Rouges (SMTR), which by the time belonged to the ARBED, a major Luxembourg-based steel and iron producing company. This place was a part of the "Terres Rouges" site, but on French territory. Its doors were closed in 1997.
